
Zărneștilor Keys (Zărneștilor Gorge)
The Zărneștilor Keys are also known as the Zărneștilor Gorge, it is an extremely spectacular natural monument, the keys are part of the Piatra Craiului National Park and are a geological nature reservation that covers an area of 109.80 ha.
The Zărneștilor Gorge is located at the southern extremity of Brașov county (near the territorial limit with Argeș county), on the western territory of the village of Măgura, which makes them easily accessible from our guesthouse.
The protected area (comtaining the Zărneștilor Gorge) represents a natural area (of geological, floristic, faunistic and landscape interest) with key type formations (with wooded slopes and much vegetation) that cross the valley of the Mare river, which in some places disappears in the limestones of the pass, then appear again at the exit of the keys.
