The Holy Trinity Monastery in Peștera

The Holy Trinity Monastery in located in the village of Peștera, Brașov county, Moeciu de Jos commune, accessible on DN 73 Brașov – Pitești, about 30 km from Brașov city, 25 km from Predeal, 10 km from Bran Castle and at only 2.4 km from the village of Măgura, where you can stay at our guesthouse.

The Cave Monastery can be reached from our guesthouse, both by car, in about 10 minutes and on foot in about 35 minutes. We recommend that you walk, the road is quiet and easy to walk and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery and the fresh air.

The monastery is located in the Piatra Craiului National Park, in the inter-mountainous area of ​​the Southern Carpathians, which separates the Piatra Craiului Massif in the north from the Bucegi Massif in the southeast.
